We regretfully advise the Engineering, Innovation, and Technology (EIT) Forum planned for 1–3 February 2022 will be rescheduled to 2023.

We are aware that the number of COVID-19 cases in our community has rapidly increased over the last month and expected to increase in the coming weeks, with Queensland expected to reach a peak by the end of the month, and into early February.
The Queensland Government advice is for people to limit unnecessary exposure to the virus and to avoid crowded places, where possible, for the next few weeks (this period includes the current forum dates).
As such, the decision has been made to reschedule, given safety and health of everyone is our priority.
One of the primary objectives of the EIT Forum is to bring stakeholders together, facilitating information sharing, and both formal and informal networking. While it was a difficult decision to reschedule, we believe it is the best option to ensure your health and safety. We intend to deliver on these objectives in 2023, with a new revitalised forum.
