Urs Baeumer graduated from the University of Karlsruhe (TU), Germany in 2000 and relocated to Australia in 2007. After more than 15 years in the private sector, he joined the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, where he has worked for over a decade. Urs is currently the manager of TMR’s Hydraulics and Flooding team and is passionate about water engineering and applied hydraulics. He has led hydraulic design teams and provided technical reviews for numerous major infrastructure projects across Australia and Europe.
Bronte Board is a Principal Engineer in TMR’s Hydraulics & Flooding Unit (Engineering & Technology). She completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Arts (French, Spanish) at the University of Queensland in 2016 and worked in the private sector before joining TMR in 2022. Bronte is well-versed in hydrologic and hydraulic studies with applications from flood studies to infrastructure projects and technical reviews.
