Kenn Beer is a Registered Engineer and qualified Transport Planner with over 20 years of hands-on experience in road safety, road and street design, and transport strategy. He is the Founder and Principal Engineer at Safe System Solutions, where he leads a specialist team delivering practical, evidence-based outcomes across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.
Kenn has conducted over 200 Road Safety Audits and 150 Safe System Assessments on major infrastructure projects, applying Safe System principles to real world design and decision making. He was the Lead Author of the 2022 update to the Austroads Guide to Road Safety and serves on the Austroads Road Design Expert Panel.
His work has been recognised with a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award and two New Zealand national road safety awards.
