Jason Jones is a registered professional engineer in the state of Queensland and currently holds the position of Engineering Manager (Asphalt) with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). He has over 25 years’ experience in the design, construction and maintenance of pavements and road surfacings and has introduced many new asphalt technologies to TMR in recent years including warm mix asphalt, high modulus asphalt and crumb rubber modified asphalt. Jason currently chairs the Austroads Asphalt Research Working Group.
