Improving luminance contrast for people with low vision

Alex has worked in a wide range of customer-focussed roles over his 13 years with the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Since 2019, Alex has worked in the Accessible Transport Network program, supporting TMR to become a leader in the provision of dignified, accessible, and inclusive transport products, services, information, and infrastructure. As Manager (Technical Accessibility), Alex leads a small team in advising the department’s diverse infrastructure projects, championing universal design to deliver accessible and inclusive transport solutions for the community.
Alex manages a range of projects and initiatives, working with university partners, the disability sector and delivery partners, to identify and embed best-practice access and inclusion across the transport network. Alex has a Master of Architecture from QUT, a Diploma of Access Consulting, and is an Associate Member of the Access Consulting Association.
