New Queensland pedestrian crossing treatments options improving treatment feasibility by reducing costs while improving safety

Michael Langdon is a Senior Advisor on Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Management and Delivery issues with the Traffic Engineering Team of the Engineering & Technology Branch of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. He has expertise in bicycle, pedestrian and Personal Mobility Device infrastructure design, technical publications, technical training, traffic data analysis, emerging technology evaluation and project management. He has previously appeared as an expert witness at the Queensland Parliament Transport, Housing and Local Government Committee Inquiry into Cycling Issues. Previous work has also included: Cycling & Walking Strategy Development, Principal Cycle Network Planning, Regional Transport Planning, Transport Social Marketing, Passenger Transport Strategy, and Community Transport Development.
