Alex has worked in a wide range of customer-focussed roles since joining the Department of Transport and Main Roads in 2012. Since 2019, Alex has worked in the Accessible Transport Network program, supporting TMR to become a leader in the provision of dignified, accessible, and inclusive transport products, services, information, and infrastructure. As Manager (Technical Accessibility), Alex provides strategic and technical advice to the department’s diverse infrastructure projects, championing universal design to deliver accessible and inclusive transport solutions for the community. Alex manages a range of projects and initiatives, working with university partners, the disability sector and delivery partners, to identify and embed best-practice through technical advice, guidance and resources. Alex has a Master of Architecture from QUT, a Diploma of Access Consulting, and is an Associate Member of the Access Consulting Association.
