Wahi Rabbani is a Principal Engineer with the Safer Roads Team of the Engineering & Technology Branch of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. He has expertise in transportation engineering, specialising in highway/traffic planning, design, operations, and road safety, as well as a deep understanding of pedestrian and bicyclist interests. In addition, he gained valuable experience in traffic signal design and network performance analysis while working for a local government agency in Queensland.
Michael Gillies is currently the Manager of Safer Roads in the Engineering and Technology Branch of the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Michael Gillies has two decades of experience across traffic engineering and road safety in government and consulting. With this background he has supported these disciplines at the Queensland State government and national levels to champion for the safe and efficient movement of all users.
