Michael Gillies has two decades of experience across traffic engineering and road safety in government and consulting. With this background he has supported these disciplines at the Queensland State government and national levels to champion for the safe and efficient movement of all users. Michael has helped shape Austroads documents and Queensland documents related to Traffic Management and Road Safety, particularly related to road infrastructure and speed management. Michael also provides training and guidance across Queensland related to road safety in his quest to eliminate death and serious injuries occurring in our everyday movements.
