Butch is a chartered environmental professional with 34 years’ experience in environmental management, assessment and approvals. Butch’s experience includes front end project assessment and approval, project commissioning, operational management and closure. He has worked on a range of major road projects such as Coomera Connector, Burleigh to Palm Beach, Woolgoolga to Ballina; Logan enhancement Project; Gateway Upgrade North; Kingsford Smith Drive; Smith Street Upgrade and The Multimodal Transport Corridor. Butch has current and active experience with state and Commonwealth legislation.
Supported by strong business acumen and a broad base of experiences, stretching across seven countries and three continents, Butch is able to find practical and workable solutions to most environmental challenges. He has a well-developed understanding of infrastructure environmental impacts and has a practical approach to mitigation including design mitigations. Butch is able to balance social, environmental and economic outcomes while ensuring successful technical and client outcomes.
