Sharyn van Rooyen is Manager, Heavy Vehicle Strategy & Governance in the Structures and Network Access Program at the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.
She has been involved in the New Revised Class 1 project since inception and now leads governance and strategic initiatives supporting its delivery.
With a background as a barrister and long term advisor to TMR, Sharyn specialises in applying practical governance and risk frameworks to complex policy and infrastructure challenges. Her work focuses on evidence based decision making, prioritisation of high impact activities, and structured project planning.
