Clair completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 2004 and commenced employment with TMR in September 2024. Clair has over 20 years’ operational experience in rural road construction, specialising in sprayed bituminous surfacing. Prior to joining TMR, Clair was appointed Principal Professional Leader at the National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO) in September 2022, where her previous industry based operational experience in sprayed sealing was utilised to write training packages to deliver to the broader industry, including local Councils, industry and state government employees. Before NTRO, Clair worked for Downer as a Project Engineer in South Australia with the Thin Surfacing Division, focussing on sprayed seal design, field procedures and operations, road asset condition reports, quality management and project delivery. Clair is highly motivated, organised and experienced in sprayed sealing design, specifications, project management and operational delivery, with a focus on customer service to ensure quality outcomes.
