Budi Soetanto is an Engineering Manager (Pavement Rehabilitation) within the Engineering and Technology Branch of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. He brings 18 years of experience in pavement engineering across both state and local government environments, complemented by approximately five years of experience in the building and construction industry.
Budi holds a Diploma in Building and Construction, a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Internetworking, and a Master of Civil Engineering. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Civil) with Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation.
As a subject matter expert in pavement rehabilitation, Budi has been extensively involved in concrete pavement works, bridge deck wearing surface rehabilitation works, and pavement and subgrade stabilisation projects. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, including investigation, design, and construction phases.
