Dr Govinda Pandey is an internationally recognised industry thought leader in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), known for bridging advanced research with real-world infrastructure delivery. He is the Chairman of Rockfield Technologies, an Adjunct Professor at James Cook University and a Fellow of Engineers Australia, with over 25 years of experience spanning academia, consulting, construction and technology-led engineering practice. Govinda has led and advised SHM programs on major bridges, transport corridors, and critical infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally, helping asset owners transition to data-driven, risk-informed decision making. A strong advocate for knowledge ecosystems, Govinda actively collaborates with leading universities, industry partners, and governments worldwide. He is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences and premier academic institutions and regularly contributes to shaping industry thinking on innovation, resilience, and infrastructure digitisation.
