Assessing the future impacts of low and zero emission vehicles on road infrastructure

Dr Daniel Ainalis is a Senior Engineer in the Life Cycle and Economic Assessment portfolio at the National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO) and has extensive experience leading and working on a variety of national and international projects related to the performance, sustainability, and economics of road transport, freight, and infrastructure. Daniel has extensive experience working with the road and freight transport industry in Australia and Europe and has led and delivered a range of road and transport infrastructure related projects working in close
collaboration with academic, industry and government partners and stakeholders. He has expertise in modelling and evaluating the economic and environmental impacts of vehicles and infrastructure.
He is a board member of the international Heavy Vehicle Transport & Technology (HVTT) Forum, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Transport Engineering and Modelling, Imperial College London, UK.
