Kanjana Yindee is an experienced bitumen and asphalt professional with over 25 years in the road construction industry, with a focus on the performance and sustainability of bituminous materials. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Naresuan University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of San Francisco.

She began her career with TIPCO Asphalt (Colas Asia), where she gained experience in bitumen production, quality control, and research and development. In 2011, she joined Colas Mauritius as Laboratory Manager for the Parallel Taxiway Project at SSR International Airport, contributing to quality assurance across soil, aggregates, cement, and asphalt materials.

In 2013, Kanjana joined SAMI Bitumen Technologies (Colas Australia) as Laboratory Manager in Queensland, and later moved to Sydney in 2015 as National Laboratory and R&D Manager, supporting laboratory operations and technical development across the business.

In 2025, she took on the role of Group Technical Manager ANZ, where she works with teams across Australia and New Zealand to support technical strategy, innovation, and quality systems.

Her areas of interest include the rheology and performance of bituminous materials, as well as the development of more sustainable solutions such as recycled materials, low-carbon binders, and improved asphalt technologies. She is particularly interested in linking laboratory research with practical field performance to support more durable and environmentally responsible pavements.
