Shane McNamee is an experienced engineering executive with over 25 years in project and program management, specialising in transport infrastructure planning and delivery. A Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), he has led major, complex infrastructure initiatives across planning, preconstruction and delivery phases. He currently serves as a Project Director for Coomera Connector Stage 2 and the Natural Disaster Program for the South Coast Region and plays a key leadership role on regional and program leadership teams. Shane has directed and delivered some of Queensland’s most significant transport projects, including the M1 Varsity Lakes to Tugun upgrade and is recognised for his strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and ability to drive sustainable, high-performing project outcomes in complex environments.
