Jagath Abeynayake is a Principal Hydraulics Engineer with the Engineering and Technology Branch of the Department of Transport and Main Roads. After working in the private sector for more than 10 years, Jagath joined the department in 2011. He has been involved in a variety of drainage and water resource development projects, as well as flood assessments for transport infrastructure projects across Queensland and internationally.
