Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has been running an engineering and technology related forum for more than 23 years. It is the only event of its kind run by a State Road Authority in Australia.
Over those years the Engineering, Innovation, and Technology Forum has developed into a truly collaborative event, bringing together in excess of 500 delegates from all facets of the transport sector, across both government and private organisations.
The forum provides an excellent opportunity for industry representatives, and experienced and emerging technical professionals, to:
- share their knowledge
- discuss project outcomes and deliverables
- promote research and development findings
- build multi-disciplinary networks.
It provides the opportunity for people to learn about new technologies and practices, while also learning about emerging technologies such as Cooperative and Automated Vehicles.
Delegates, particularly Engineers and Surveyors, can also receive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for their attendance and participation.
