Developing a Staging Strategy for a Master-planned Corridor – a Metropolitan Region case study

Ed Chandra is a transport planning engineer with over 30 years’ experience across the department and industry. Ed has been involved in the planning of Inner City Bypass, Ipswich Motorway, the Gateway Bridge Duplication, Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, and others. More recently, Ed’s been assisting Metropolitan Region planning on level crossing removals, Centenary Motorway, Cunningham Highway, Gympie Arterial Road Connection, and others.
Ed has a master’s degree in civil engineering and postgraduate diploma in economics.
Anthony has 16 years’ experience in planning and delivery of transport infrastructure projects across QLD, NSW and the United Kingdom. This includes over 10 years’ delivering transport infrastructure projects for TMR, from both the client and consultant side. Anthony is currently working for TMR project managing TMR Metro’s largest and most complicated planning project. The project involves delivering a multi-modal corridor masterplan for the 13km Centenary Motorway between Darra and Toowong, including a staging strategy.
