Enhancing Road Safety Through Road Behaviour Monitoring Systems and Transportable Enforcement Solutions

Matt Kolesnik is a dedicated member of Transport and Main Roads, Engineering and Technology, with a strong work ethic shaped by extensive technical trade experience with Brisbane City Council, coupled with military service in the Australian Army. Matt is a qualified electrician with hands-on expertise in diagnostics, installation, maintenance, and fault-finding across vehicle, plant, and equipment systems. His Army background has instilled discipline, resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of teamwork, alongside the ability to perform effectively under pressure. Matt works within the Safer Roads Infrastructure Section, and is responsible for supporting the Camera Detected Offence Program through field based maintenance and project management.

Outside of work, Matt values fitness, and family, approaching challenges with professionalism, humour, and a commitment to continuous improvement, while maintaining high standards and personal accountability.
