Darren Newell started his engineering career as an engineering cadet with TMR and then moved into the private sector. He has over thirty years of experience in the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects in Queensland. He has significant design and construction experience, predominantly in TMR projects. He also has research experience in soil-structure interaction analysis, geomaterial testing and instrumentation.
