Program focus

The 2026 Engineering, Innovation, and Technology (EIT) Forum, hosted by the Queensland Government Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), is being convened under the theme Delivering value—where risk and opportunity converge reflects the realities of modern infrastructure delivery—where time, budget, and resources are limited, and risk must be managed, not avoided.

The forum program will be a platform for engineers, planners, project managers, and technical professionals across the transport sector to share how they’re delivering fit-for-purpose solutions under pressure. It will showcase experiences, methodologies and outcomes across project management, tool development, or policy implementation that balances performance and practicality in the shaping future infrastructure delivery.
