Dr Andrew Burbridge is a professionally registered civil engineer (PhD, CEng, RPEQ, MICE), recognised in Australia and internationally as a technical specialist in road safety.
Andrew has over 35 years’ experience working in the United Kingdom, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Botswana, Swaziland, and Australia. His career spans project delivery, contract administration, standards development, applied research, and technical governance.
Andrew has represented Queensland and Australia on various Australian Standards committees, and has represented Austroads on the PIARC World Road Association Road Safety Technical Committee (TC3.1).
He is a multiple award‑winning road safety practitioner and the author of numerous peer‑reviewed and conference publications.
