Jerome A. Egwurube is a highly experienced Civil Engineer and Project Manager with over three decades of expertise in infrastructure delivery, contract administration, and academic research. Currently serving with the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), he leads complex infrastructure projects, providing strategic oversight in contract performance, and technical problem-solving, particularly in pavement engineering and soil stabilization.
Jerome has a strong background in both industry and academia. Prior to his current role, he contributed to infrastructure development and contract management internationally, and spent decades as a Lecturer in Traffic and Transportation Engineering at CQUniversity and internationally, where he led research in infrastructure rehabilitation and mentored emerging engineers.
He holds a PhD in Highway Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). His professional standing is further reinforced through affiliations with Engineers Australia, IPWEA, and international engineering registers. Jerome is recognized for his ability to integrate technical excellence with effective project leadership, delivering sustainable and compliant infrastructure outcomes.
