Nicholas Grice is a transport engineer at AECOM specialising in traffic modelling, impact assessments, and transport planning. Since joining the industry in 2021, he has progressed to a professional role, contributing to major infrastructure projects across Queensland while leading innovations in modelling, automation, and data visualisation to improve decision-making and project delivery. His track record of academic excellence, recognised by the ITEANZ University Award, and early career achievements, including the 2023 AITPM Young Professional Award (QLD), reflect his pursuit of growth and development. Nicholas’s passion for the diverse applications of transport planning and data analysis, led to his contribution to the South-East Queensland koala vehicle strike Project, developing tools to support targeted and optimised mitigation. Nicholas represents a next generation of thought leadership, curious and excited to challenge existing methods, push boundaries and pursue targeted solutions to complex transport problems.
