Pinak Dholakia is a Chartered Professional Engineer (C.P. Eng.) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) with more than 19 years of experience delivering complex road and transport infrastructure projects within the Department of Transport and Main Roads through RoadTek. He has extensive experience across preconstruction, construction, operations, environmental management, and emergency response, and has successfully managed large scale programs exceeding $50 million per annum. Throughout his career, Pinak has demonstrated strong leadership and governance capabilities in senior and acting roles including Senior Project Manager (Engineering), Acting Operations Manager (Brisbane), Acting Construction Manager (South), and Acting Principal Project Manager (RMC).
Pinak holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (First Class Honours), a Master of Environmental Engineering, a Graduate Diploma of Portfolio Management, and is a graduate of the Australian Major Project Leadership Academy.
He has led multidisciplinary teams, driven continuous improvement in project and contract management practices, managed risk and performance against strategic objectives, and developed effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. He demonstrates a strong commitment to safe, efficient, and value for money infrastructure delivery and brings a collaborative, accountable, and outcomes focused approach aligned with departmental objectives and public sector values.
