Engineering, Innovation, and Technology Forum

Delivering value—where risk and opportunity converge

18-20 August 2026

About EITF

The Queensland Government Department of Transport and Main Roads Engineering, Innovation, and Technology (EIT) Forum returns to Brisbane in August 2026, bringing together the brightest minds and boldest ideas from across the transport sector.

Since its inception in 1994, this forum has brought together engineers, project managers, technologists, policymakers, and industry leaders to share learnings and to shape the future of infrastructure.

This year’s theme, Delivering value—where risk and opportunity converge challenges us to do more with less—driving innovation, collaboration, and practical solutions in an era of limited resources and rising expectations. The EIT Forum is more than a conference; it’s a platform for sharing real-world achievements, exploring emerging technologies, and championing diversity and inclusion in engineering. It brings together leading industry professionals to explore how the engineering industry is challenging itself to deliver better value transport infrastructure and operations.

Attendees will experience dynamic keynotes, technical sessions, and interactive panels covering the full spectrum of transport engineering—from sustainability and digital transformation to constructability and resilient design. The program is designed to foster knowledge exchange, professional growth, and meaningful connections across government, industry, academia, and the next generation of leaders.

Whether you’re presenting your latest project, learning from sector pioneers, or building new partnerships, the EIT Forum is your opportunity to be part of the conversation that’s shaping Australia’s transport future.

Join us in Brisbane, 18–20 August 2026, and help reimagine what’s possible.
