Melissa Johansson is a communications professional and certified change practitioner with more than 25 years of experience across the private and public sectors.
For the last 15 years, Melissa has specialised in change and communications for procurement reform and improvement initiatives spanning structural, process and digital transformation for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
In 2020, Melissa joined the department’s Infrastructure Management and Delivery Division to lead change and communications for the Collaborative Transport Infrastructure Program. A passionate advocate for co-design and collaboration, Melissa is the architect of the jointly developed TMR-Infrastructure Industry Engagement Charter, which established the foundation for a more collaborative culture.
More recently, Melissa has led the development of TMR’s first Supplier Management Framework, to further strengthen relationships between the department and its infrastructure delivery suppliers.
