Andrew Volpato has over 25 years engineering experience, in both the Local government and the private sector.
He is currently a Senior Engineer in Toowoomba Regional Council’s Asset Management section.
In this role he has been involved with the:
development of asset management plans
asset data collection, validation and condition assessment programs
management of federal and state grants submissions
NHVR bridge load assessment program (SLGAAP)
development of quality assurance systems
development of long-term capital renewal programs
asset monitoring and asset register maintenance
Prior to Council Andrew worked as a consulting engineer focused on the design, inspection and certification of residential and industrial structures.
Today Andrew will be discussing Council’s framework for the management and load assessment of its bridge network.
