Step 1:ReviewRoutine Maintenance Performance Contract (RMPC) Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical (ITS&E) work activities

Author: Jason Venz

The Statewide Network Operations (SNO) branch was established in April 2023 and provided an impetus to refresh and improve the consistency and efficiency of Routine Maintenance Performance Contracts (RMPCs) for ITS&E devices across Queensland.

This presentation will outline the project and methodology and share the project learnings and next steps. For example, you’ll learn WHY a more harmonised, efficient and effective way of supporting the management of ITS&E RMPCs was so important to help embrace a new operating context amidst challenging constraints. You’ll also learn HOW the project team leveraged past experiences and resources to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, and how some concepts have been incorporated into the Department of Transport and Main Roads’ Routine Maintenance Guidelines to benefit all RMPCs.

While focused on ITS&E devices, insights will be provided that may assist anyone associated with managing RMPCs and change in general.
